Economic Briefing May 2023

The study assesses the economic performance of Mauritius post covid and focuses on various macro-economic indicators such as inflation, GDP growth, FDI, current account balance as well as an analysis on the key sectors of the country. At the end of the paper, a summary of some main economic indicators is provided from 2019 – 2022. This analysis is likely to be fundamental to policymakers for comparison purposes.
