ABOUT MAURICE STRATÉGIE

Contributing to public action through research, analysis and consultations

Maurice Stratégie is the national research and planning bureau of Mauritius. Established as a statutory body under the Maurice Stratégie Board Act 2024, the institution operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Financial Services and Economic Planning, with the aim of institutionalising a centralised body to guide policy and strategy formulation through research, analysis, and national consultation.​

Providing support to Government by developing short-, medium-, and long-term plans, visions, and strategies that guide national development

Economic Research and Analysis

Conducting in-depth economic research and analysis to inform policy choices and support evidence-based decision-making

Policy Dialogue and Advocacy

Driving public debate and formulating recommendations to support collective choices on social, economic, and environmental issues

Policy Evaluation

Evaluating the implementation and outcomes of public policies to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with national priorities
